Conservation Gala Raises more than $98,000.00 for local Environmental Initiatives!
Credit Valley Conservation Foundation (CVCF), in partnership with the Conservation Halton Foundation, hosted its Fourth Annual Conservation Gala on Wednesday May 13 th , 2009, raising more than $98,000.00 for projects that enhance and protect the natural environment for present and future generations.
The dinner and auction, held at Rattlesnake Point Golf Club in Milton , was a tremendous success with environmentalists, businessmen, community members, politicians and guests all in attendance.
Jim Muscat, CVC Foundation Board Vice Chair emceed the event. Cawthra Park Secondary School music student, Katelyn St. Kitts, performed the National Anthem, professional auctioneer, Dan Clark "The Auction Guy", conducted the live auction and musical entertainment for the evening was provided by the Chris Robinson Jazz Trio.

The contributions made to the 2009 Conservation Gala has enabled Credit Valley Conservation Foundation and the Conservation Halton Foundation to provide outstanding opportunities for local youth. Opportunities that help cultivate the Green Leaders of tomorrow.
