Thank you to our 2009 Entertainers:
Our Master of Ceremonies , Jim Muscat recently retired after a lifetime career as a Sergeant with the Toronto Police Services. Jim was the Communications Spokesperson for Toronto Police Services for many years as well as the lead of their Fugitive Squad Department. Jim currently teaches at Humber College and serves on the boards of the Learning Disabilities Association of Mississauga and the Credit Valley Conservation Foundation.
Our Auctioneer , Dan Clark, "The Auction Guy" is a past Ontario Grand Champion Auctioneer and as the 2006 All-Round World Championship Auctioneers Competition 1st Runner-Up; Dan's trademark auction style is rooted in humor and excitement.
Our Anthem Soloist , Katelyn St. Kitts, is a grade eleven student at Cawthra Park Secondary School in Mississauga in the regional arts program. She is very involved with the choral and musical theatre programs at the school. Katelyn has performed at the CNE, Canada 's Wonderland and at a televised singing competition earlier this year.
Our Musical Trio was led by the talented Chris Robinson. This ensemble features a wide range of great American standards, soft Latin's and gorgeous ballads. Chris Robinson has been spinning his melodic saxophone lines for over twenty years. He has been featured with orchestras, jazz ensembles, Dixieland bands, R & B, and piano and guitar duets.
Oakville's Town Crier is Chris Pedersen-Brown who enjoys her role delivering proclamations for events like the Santa Claus Parade, the Oakville Waterfront Festival and other special events like the Conservation Gala. In her other life, Chris is a teacher at Clarkson Secondary School and mother of two boys.
