Our Entertainers:
Our Master of Ceremonies, Ken Phillips is the Chief Administrative Officer of Conservation Halton. Over the past 20 years, Ken has worked at conservation authorities across Ontario including the Hamilton and Crowe River Conservation Authorities. Ken is actively engaged in communicating the importance and value of conservation and environmental protection across the province.
Our Town Crier, Chris Pederson-Brown, enjoys her role in delivering proclamations for events like the Santa Clause Parade, the Oakville Waterfront Festival and other special events like the Conservation Gala. In her other life, Chris is a teacher at Clarkson Secondary School and a mother to two boys.
Our anthem soloist, Kelsey Faulkner, is a grade 11 vocal major at Cawthra Park Secondary School ‘s Regional Arts Program. She has performed in more than 10 musical theatre productions and has competed in vocal competitions such as The Rising Star Competition at the CNE and Future Star at Metalworks Studio in Mississauga.
Our jazz musicians, The SP Jazz Trio are full time professional musicians who graduated from the Humber College Music program and work as performers, session musicians, producers and music instructors. They are also members of the dance/pop band Sonic Playground.
Our auctioneer, Don Clark, “The Auction Guy” is a past Ontario Grand Champion Auctioneer and as the 2006 All Round World Championship Auctioneers Competition 1st Runner-Up; Dan’s trademark auction style is rooted in humor and excitement.
